This year, we partnered with The Etafeni Trust, a multi-purpose centre for children affected by AIDS and their caregivers. Hungry Lion donated material that was used to make clothing for kids in the center, as well as other creches in the Nyanga area.

In the spirit of ubuntu, our Head Office team spent 67 min at The Ravensmead Welfare Society contributing towards the needs of the community.

We had loads of fun during the 20th Birthday Bonanza in July! Staff all over Africa joined in on the celebrations.

As part of our brand promise to always SHARE more, three lucky Hungry Lion fans were reunited with their families. "You're not just about wings and big bites," one of the winners said afterwards. "You are about joy too. Reunion is Love + Happiness, and you gave me exactly that in two hours."

The Battle of the Flavours competition drove fans to our stores to try out the new Spicy Zamba flavour and vote for their favourite one! Fans were encouraged to buy, vote and ultimately win their share of R100 000!

Hungy Lion donated x 10 pairs of school shoes to the children of DR Knak Primary school in Alexandra Twonship. This came after the #100Shoes4Alex campaign collected over x100 schools shoes from individuals, brands & companies willing to make a difference in less fortunate children's lives.

Hungry Lion loves giving back MORE. AJAX Youth Academy received R 50 000 donation to contribute towards the skills development of young football players within the Cape Town communities.

In the spirit of generosity, Hungry Lion donated Christmas goodie bags to a Santa Shoebox initiative for the Belhar, Delft & Wesbank communities. The Santa Shoebox project was a huge success presenting x120 deserving children with gifts during the 2015 festive season!
